Dear Members of the VERMONT NATIONAL GUARD,

On behalf of the National Guard Association of Vermont, it is with great pleasure that I announce our NGA-VT Spring Formal All Ranks Ball. It will be held on Saturday 14 March 2009 at the Sheraton Hotel in Burlington, Vermont.

We have an outstanding rate of $90 per night. To make your reservations for rooms please call 802-865-6600. We have limited availability at this price, be sure to tell them that you are with the National Guard contingent. Reserve your rooms early, as there is no guarantee of room availability.

The uniform for the sit down dinner is Mess or Dress Blues. Army Guard Officers MAY wear the Class "A" uniform with a white shirt and black bow tie. Air Guard Officers MAY wear the service dress uniform (blues).

The social hour starts at 1715 in the Emerald Ballroom and is followed by dinner at 1830 in the same location. Our guest speaker for the evening will be BG Mark Schissler, Director of Cyber Operations: an inspirational speaker; leader in technology.

Registration deadline is 6 March 2009. The cost for the dinner is:
E-1 thru E-6 and O-1 thru O2 =$34 per person
E-7 thru E-9, Warrant Officers, and O-3 and higher =$39 per person
